Since summer means heat and ice cream, I bring you a wonderful recipe that's super easy to make, delicious, and healthy!!!
I ordered some silicone molds for "stick ice creams," like Magnum®, online. I confess I was apprehensive, but I was very satisfied with the final result. The package came with 2 molds, each making 4 ice creams, and they also included wooden sticks 😁.
With this recipe, I made 8 ice creams, and the coating was enough for 6. Shall we get to the recipe?
You will need:
Preparation with Thermomix®:
Place the sugar in the bowl and pulverize for 10 seconds/speed 10. The amount of sugar will depend on your personal taste and the sweetness of the strawberries.
Add the strawberries and chop for 40 seconds/speed 9.Add the yogurt and mix for 10 seconds/speed 6.
Pour the sorbet into the molds and place in the freezer until solid. You can use the silicone molds mentioned, but simpler plastic molds will also work.
When the ice creams are solid, you can prepare the coating.
In the clean and dry bowl, place the chocolate pieces and grate for 10 seconds/speed 9. Remove and set aside.
Place 180 g of the grated chocolate in the bowl and melt for 3-6 minutes/50°C/speed 2.5.
Add the remaining 70 g of grated chocolate and mix for 2 minutes/speed 2.5.
Pour the melted chocolate into a container suitable for dipping the ice creams. Dip each ice cream one at a time and place them on parchment paper until the coating solidifies (this only takes seconds!).
Enjoy immediately or store in the freezer 😋.
Tips:
For a lighter option, you can make just the fruit sorbet. Try using other fruits and adjust the amount of sugar to your liking; the result is always delicious. For a surprising twist, try adding a few flakes of sea salt to the chocolate coating or some chopped almonds. Use your imagination 😉
I hope you enjoy and have fun preparing this treat with your family!
