Hello, I hope you are all doing well!
Is there anyone out there who doesn't like a good slice of bread, preferably freshly baked, spread with butter? I bet few or none.
As I've mentioned before, we don't eat dairy at home, and often I buy vegan "butter," usually from the brands Vitaqueel (Mergarine) and Violife, which you can find at Celeiro and in supermarkets. However, I decided to try making homemade butter with just a few ingredients. The result was surprising!

To make this wonder, you will need:
200g of flavourless coconut oil
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of turmeric
A pinch of salt
130ml of plant-based milk (I used soy)
1 teaspoon of cider vinegar
200g of flavourless coconut oil
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of turmeric
A pinch of salt
130ml of plant-based milk (I used soy)
1 teaspoon of cider vinegar
Preparation in the Bimby®:
Pour the milk with vinegar into a cup and set aside.
Pour the milk with vinegar into a cup and set aside.
In the mixing bowl, melt the coconut oil for 1 minute at 80ºC on speed 2.
Add the olive oil, turmeric, and salt, and mix for 1 minute on speed 5. Then add the milk with vinegar and beat for 2 minutes on speed 7.
Transfer the mixture to a container or butter dish lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until solidified. Then you can remove the parchment paper and place the "butter" back in its container.
Traditional preparation:
Pour the milk with vinegar into a cup and set aside.
Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan or microwave and transfer it to a blender. Add the olive oil, turmeric, and salt, and blend until smooth. Then add the milk with vinegar and blend until the mixture is homogeneous.
